October is a month dedicated to Breast Cancer.
My grandma suffered from Breast Cancer for about 11 years, and I convinced her to come out to the ranch with me one last time. She was an avid bow hunter and loved the outdoors. Grandma was very sick from her cancer and I was after my deer that weekend, she gave me her arrows with pink fletching on them. We spent that whole afternoon re-tuning my bow with her arrows. That evening I climbed into my tree stand and shot this buck at 15 yards October 4. This was such a great experience for me, and to share it with Grandma made it all the more special. About 2 weeks later my grandma pasted away in her fight of Breast Cancer.
